Ravens win in walk off Punt return.

The Rams flew into Baltimore during this Sunday to face off against the AFC juggernaut Ravens.

To start the game the Rams stopped Lamar and then proceeded to run the ball down the throat of the Ravens. The Rams ran the ball 9 straight times and drove right into the red zone. Now from there, they passed it for three straight incompletions forcing them to settle for three points. To finish off the first quarter the Ram’s coverage was blown and Lamar found Isaiah Likely for a 54-yard TD.

In the second quarter, we had a lot of scoring. It started out with a 6-yard TD reception by Cooper Kupp at the 12 minute mark. Then, on another blown coverage Lamar found Odell Beckham for a 46-yard TD reception. Followed by a TD from our third-string tight end Davis Allen from 7 yards out. To end the quarter we had a field goal from each kicker. The most significant one came from Lucas Havrisik who nailed one from 51 yards out, this is significant because the Rams signed long-time Packers Kicker Crosby to the practice squad this week. Havrisik responded to this pressure, and Crosby was cut. Rams lead going into half 20-17

The box score of the third quarter looked like a baseball game. Tucker kicked a field goal and Rams forced a safety off a horrendous snap by Baltimores center.

Ravens start the fourth with a field goal to put them up by a point. Rams then drove down the field and scored a beautiful TD to Demarcus Robinson. The Rams attempted to go for two but failed. Ravens then drove down the field and on a 3rd and 17 Lamar found Zay Flowers for a 21-yard touchdown. Then they went for the two-point conversion to be up by three. Then with 1:16 left in the game, Stafford found Puka and Kupp for some big gains to put them in field goal position with 7 seconds left. Lucas nailed it from 36 yards out.

In overtime, the Ravens started by going three and out, and the Rams put a few good plays together but faltered on a dumb delay of game penalty. The Rams then punted, and the rest was history. Tylan Wallace scored a TD for 76 yards with a little help from some blocks in the back. Game over, Ravens win.

Final score: Rams:31 Ravens:37

Final thoughts: Even though we lost I see this as a win. We went toe to toe with arguably the best team in the AFC off of their bye week. And if anything they got a little lucky winning in the fashion that they did. This is a young Rams team that is only going to get better. Stafford looked elite and I’d rather be this team right now over a team like the Vikings that had to win a game 3-0. In the long run, this team will do some damage.

On to the Commanders.
