The Philadelphia Eagles[9-1] defeat the Kansas City Chiefs[7-3] 21-17. Next week, the Eagles host the Buffalo Bills while the Chiefs travel to play the Las Vegas Raiders.
1st Quarter: Chiefs Quarterback Patrick Mahomes throws a 3-yard touchdown to Wide Receiver Justin Watson. Eagles Running Back D’Andre Swift runs in a 4-yard touchdown.
2nd Quarter: Eagles Quarterback Jalen Hurts throws an interception to Chiefs Cornerback L’Jarius Sneed, who gives the Chiefs the ball at their own 30-yard line. Patrick Mahomes throws an interception to Eagles Safety Kevin Byard III in the endzone for a touchback. Patrick Mahomes throws a 4-yard touchdown to Tight End Travis Kelce. Chiefs Kicker Harrison Butker kicks a 43-yard field goal. Chiefs lead 17-3 at halftime.
3rd Quarter: Jalen Hurts runs in a 10-yard touchdown.
4th Quarter: Eagles Cornerback Bradley Robt forces Travis Kelce to fumble the ball and Eagles Linebacker Nicholas Morrow recovers at their own 10-yard line. The Eagles run the Brotherly Shove and Jalen Hurts scores a 1-yard touchdown. The Eagles won 21-17.

What a wild game. So much frustration and joy. This game took years off my life. At the start of this game saw plays I had never seen before. Goedert’s injury changed the way the offense runs and I would not say it was either good or bad. Early in the game, passing the ball was infuriating because the play calls did not allow for receivers to get open and it resulted in Hurts being pressured or sacked quickly. Then late in the game, it was screen pass after screen pass. When I asked for quick passes I did not mean to just run screen passes. Slants, zigs, mesh, etc. would have been great. Another game where there were not enough run plays with the running backs. Jalen Hurts has as many carries as D’Andre Swift. That should never happen. A.J. Brown had 1 catch for 8 yards. This offense is doing enough to win games despite the playcalling but they can be so much better. The defense was fantastic against Patrick Mahomes. The only issue was the inability to stop Mahomes from scrambling. The run defense had their worst performance of the season by allowing 168 rushing yards on 30 carries. The secondary got lucky with a couple of drops and inaccurate passes. Just like the offense, this defense can be better. This was a great win. The talking point is going to be the drop by Marquez Valdes-Scantling but the Eagles had multiple timeouts left and around 100 seconds left in the game.
