Cleveland Browns versus Pittsburgh Steelers is one of the oldest rivalries in sports history. Defense has always been a key component and this week’s makeup was no different featuring two perennial DPOY candidates. The Steelers’ offense has been bad all season while the Browns were handcuffed ed with rookie DTR as Deshaun Watson will miss the rest of the season so this game unfolded like most thought ugly and hard to watch. Cleveland did manage to score ten points in the first half to the Steelers goose egg. The Steelers offense has regressed every game this year. They’ve got completely obliterated on Sunday only saving face with a 74-yard run on the second play of the first half. In the fourth quarter, Kenny Pickett managed to fart out some decent passes and got the Steelers in position to tie the game on a 28-yard field goal. The defense did the best they could all game but broke too much in the final drive as the Browns managed to get into field goal range and won the game as the clock expired.
The news came early today that the offensive woes are being addressed, and Matt Canada has been relieved of his duties. He may not have been the only problem but he has been at the head of it and in charge of it.
