Rams lose in Lambeau

The LA Rams faced off against the Green Bay Packers this Sunday. The field was slippery and players were sliding. The starting QB for the Rams was Brett Rypien. It was the matchup we all were on the edge of our seats for Love vs Rypien.

Right out of the gate, I’m going to say in the 23 years I’ve been a Ram fan this game could not be more forgettable. The offense looked like a high school offense and Brett Rypien looked like a lost child. The Ram’s offense was basically: run, run, incomplete pass, punt.

Anyways back to what actually happened. So the first quarter basically nothing happened and the score was tied 0-0.

Second quarter, Jordan Love and the Packers drove down the field and scored the first touchdown of the game. It was an Aaron Jones three-yard run. He finished the game with 20 carries and 73 yards and this touchdown. This was followed by *spoiler alert* the Rams only three points in the game.

Going into the third quarter the score was 7-3 Packers. The only scoring action of this quarter was a 26-yard field goal by Anders Carlson.

Both teams turned the ball over multiple times and frankly, both offenses were sloppy but this didn’t stop the Packers from scoring 10 points in the 4th quarter. A 34-tard field goal and a 20 yard TD from a pass to Luke Musgrave. Jordan Love finished the game 20-26, 228 yards and one TD.

As long as I will live, this will be the most forgettable Ram game of my lifetime. I just feel that in my bones. Only bright spot was the defense. Byron Young had two sacks on the day.
