The Broncos beat the Chiefs 24-9 and get their first win against the Chiefs in 8 years.
The Broncos would force KC to go 3 and out on their first drive, and Denver would capitalize with a touchdown on their first drive. KC would drive down but continue to struggle finding the end zone and would have to settle for a field goal. A Bronco punt followed by a Chiefs punt lead to another Bronco touchdown give them a 14-3 lead. The Chiefs would turn the ball over 2 more times before the half with a Mahomes interception and fumble. However KC would kick 2 more field goals before halftime to cut the lead to 14-9. That would be the score going into half.
The 3rd quarter had no scoring thanks to Justin Reid blocking a Denver field goal and each team punting once. The punt that the Broncos kicked was muffed by Mecole Hardman and led to another Bronco Touchdown. a turnover on downs by KC, a Bronco punt, and another Mahomes interception would all occur before any other scoring. The Broncos would add a field goal late in the 4th to take a 24-9 lead and that would be the final score.
