Phillies Notes:

Aaron Nola-If this is the last time we see Nola in a Phillies uniform this season then I think it will be the last time we ever see him in a Phillies uniform. He performed well outside of one inning and that one inning ended up deciding the game from the defensive side. In a contract year, Nola’s highs are Cy Young worthy but his lows are arguably the worst in the league. It has been a rollercoaster year for him. I hope the Phillies can win this series and Nola finds redemption in the World Series.

Batting-When you have Kyle Schwarber, Trea Turner, Bryce Harper, J.T. Realmuto, and Nick Castellanos and your best player is not any of them then something went extremely right or terribly wrong. These guys have to get going in game 7 if they want to win the series. Without them then there is no chance of winning.

Brandon Marsh-Hats off to Marsh for being the player of the game when everyone else was struggling. I really hope he can continue this going further and submit his spot as a full-time starter in 2024.
