- Phillies lead 1-0 after 6.5 innings.

- Tied game at 1-1 after 7 innings.
Bottom of the 9th Inning:

Diamondbacks win game 3 over the Phillies 2-1.
Phillies Notes:
Ranger Suárez-As always, Mr. Calm, Cool, and Collective played great. Suárez and the Diamondbacks starter should have probably stayed in for the rest of the game.
José Alvarado-He is always getting the Phillies out of a jam. Alvarado is my favorite reliever of the last 10 years in Philly.
Craig Kimbrel-He should not be out there in stressful situations because he tends to break down then. Kimbrel should have pitched in the 8th inning and then the 9th inning to adjust to the atmosphere but it was too late and he struggled mightily.
Batting-The players did not take batting practice? That is horrible. I have no idea whose decision that was but they need to rethink how they prepare for games. I understand the Phillies won game two 10-0 but not practicing batting after traveling across the country will take away the high the team is living on. The only run scored was off a wild pitch which is a recipe for a loss. The bats need to get going for game 4 or this series will be tied.
