It’s not going to get any better, is it? The Patriots struggle continue with a 21-17 loss to the Raiders. On the bright side, I guess we got points? Let’s get real here. This may be the worst Patriots team since 1995. They are 31st in points for and have the 6th most turnovers lost, Mac is second for INTs thrown and leading the league in pick-sixes with 3. He almost has more TDs to opposing teams than he does to his own. Oh by the way he hasn’t passed for a TD since week 3 against the Jets. He currently has 76 pass attempts without a TD. Can he make it to 100? I think so.
Mac, of course, isn’t the only problem, the o-line is beaten down and wasn’t good to begin with. The WRs can’t do anything and since the O-line and pass game is bad the run game is bad. It is time to acknowledge the root of the problem that some may not look at. Belichick as a GM has failed. I’m certain he has invented time travel because this team looks like they’re from the 80s. But I know it’s not the 80s because the only Hall of Fame talent we have on this team is a special teamer.
This game is just another hammer strike on that nail that should close the coffin on sleepy Bill. He has been coaching since 1985, that’s 38 years. The oldest team at the start of that season was the Saints at 27.4 years old. The oldest player is Aaron Rodgers who is 39. Think about that for a bit. Belichick has been a coach since Rodgers was 1. We have been through 7 presidents since ’85. I mean when Bill started coaching the Soviet Union was still a thing. People want to compare Bill to Emperor Palpatine but, even he only ruled for 15 years. I think you get my point, it is time for Bill to go.
The game has changed, but the Patriots haven’t adapted. It is time for a new coach and GM to come in and renovate this team. Whether we get a coordinator or a college coach, it is time for a refresh. Who knows maybe we draft Shedeur and get Deion as coach. I don’t know, I just know watching this offense has killed every brain cell in my brain. And I feel it will only get worse. I originally said we’d win like 5 games but now I don’t even think we can win 3. Just burn it all down, Bill will go from Palpatine to Nero.
