Oklahoma State upsets Kansas in Stillwater!

The Oklahoma State Cowboys defeated the #23 Kansas Jayhawks by the score of 39-32.

The Cowboys would jump on KU early and take 14-0 lead just 8 minutes into the game. KU would respond by driving 75 yards for TD of their own. OSU would tack on a field goal to extend their lead to 10. KU would drive 75 yards once again for a TD the PAT would be blocked. KU would find the end zone again to take their first lead of the game but would fail the 2 point try. 2 punts by each team would occur before OSU found the end zone again on a 42 yard Ollie Gordon run! The Jayhawks would answer with a TD of their own but once again would fail the 2 point try. That would do it for the scoring in the first half. The score at would be 25-24 with the Jayhawks leading.

KU would start the half with the ball and pick up right where they left off with a TD this time they would kick the PAT. OSU was able to match down but would stall and have to take the 3. An interception by KU’s Jason Bean would lead to another Cowboy field goal. Bean would throw another pick on the next drive but OSU wouldn’t get any points due to a missed field goal that would have given them the lead. KU would then turn it over on downs which lead to an OSU TD to give them the lead again, they would fail the 2 point try. Another KU drive that ended in a turnover on downs would lead to an OSU field goal to give them the 39-32 lead, which would end up being the final after Jason Bean was sacked on the last play of the game.
