It was more of the same on Sunday as the Panthers took on the Lions in Detroit. The offense wasn’t able to get out of their way with 3 turnovers. Two Bryce Young interceptions and a Miles Sanders fumble led to short fields for a Lions offense that took advantage every time.
The defense was never able to find their groove on Sunday. The Lions rushed for 159 yards as a team and just wore down the Panthers defense averaging 5.3 yards per carry. The run defense has been the biggest deficiency this season for the Panthers. They continue to get gashed for big runs which put the Lions in manageable 2nd and 3rd downs to extend drives.
The Panthers head down to Miami to take on the Dolphins this Sunday.
