1. San Francisco 49ers – The season is young but this team is complete. Only an injury or maybe last year’s NFC champ can stop them.
2. Philadelphia Eagles – The wins haven’t all been pretty but they’ve all been wins. A talented team with a pedigree is going to be hard to stop.
3. Kansas City Chiefs – The same thing can be said about the Chiefs that I said about the Eagles. You may not like the way they’re winning, you may think they are getting calls they shouldn’t but they’re winning. One call here or there isn’t a complete difference maker get over it.
4. Miami Dolphins – Miami has shown they can play without almost everyone on their roster this season and win. Connor Williams is an asset like no other. He missed the Bills game and the offense got steamrolled. He’s back against the Giants and they win easily. This team has a chance to be special.
5. Detroit Lions – Detroit is another second-tier team that could challenge the top teams in the league. They won in Kansas City and have handled the bad teams on their schedule well. Confidence is building in the Motor City.
6. Dallas Cowboys – Could the NFC West be Dallas’ kryptonite? Two road games two losses. Luckily they won’t be in that situation again until the playoffs so they got some time to figure it out.
7. Buffalo Bills – The Bills need to figure it out. Start the season with an ugly loss. Three very impressive wins followed by another ugly loss. The Jags are good but they should have won.
8. Seattle Seahawks – Nothing to report here. Hard to move a lot of spots on a bye. Sitting at 3-1 looks good.
9. Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Another 3-1 team on a bye.
10. Jacksonville Jaguars – Their two losses aren’t looking too bad the farther the season progresses, Kansas City obviously, and Houston might have something cooking.
