Eagles Notes:
Jalen Hurts-Nice game from Hurts. The interception I would not say was on him or A.J. Brown but just a miscommunication as well as a great play by the defensive back. He had a few missed throws but also some amazingly accurate passes. Did not see any significant improvement or regression from Hurts. Solid performance overall.
A.J. Brown-Fantastic game. Being able to get A.J. Brown open across the middle is important for a number of top defenses in the league. I would like to see more of this going forward in his routes.
Brian Johnson-Again the decisions continue to be questionable despite the record. With a double-digit lead, anyone with little knowledge of football knows you need to run the ball to run out the clock. Especially with how great of a running team this is and was in this game. Stop passing late in games with big leads because eventually, a team with a great offense like Kansas City, Buffalo, Miami, or San Francisco will take advantage.
Haason Reddick-I am so proud of the performance from Reddick in this game. I feel like he needed this with a slow start to the season. Came in the clutch with two sacks on the same drive. Fantastic game.
Nicholas Morrow-Morrow Dropped an interception and missed a fumble recovery. He also was run over for a key first down. Not a good game from Morrow and was clearly a weakness exploited by the Rams all game. Hopefully, Nakobe Dean will return next week or soon.
Cornerbacks-Obviously this was a tough task going up against Cooper Kupp and a rising star in Puka Nacua. I have yet to see a corner handle Kupp so I will not drag anyone down for allowing the plays he made. I am glad the team recognized how bad Jobe was doing in previous weeks and rotated Mario Goodrich, Eli Ricks, and the newly added Bradley Roby. I wish we played corners on specific receivers because none of those third-string Corners should be up against Cooper Kupp or Puka Nacua. I thought Ricks would have played well against Tutu Atwell had he been on him all game. I did not see much Kelee Ringo which was not surprising for me because he is nice against physical receivers which the Rams do not have. Going forward I hope to see who will come out on top for the third corner spot.
