The Cowboys beat the Wildcats in Stillwater by the score of 29-21.
OSU started strong on defense and offense. They forced a KSU 3-and-out and then went down to score the opening touchdown of the game. Their defense would pick up where the left off and would pick off Will Howard. They wouldn’t be able to score on that drive though. A couple punts and then OSU would add a field goal to extend their lead. KSU would finally find the end zone to cut into the Cowboy lead. A blocked field goal by KSU stalls the Cowboy drive, but the Wildcats couldn’t do anything. The Wildcats would punt and OSU would tack on a FG. KSU tried to get greedy before the half and threw a pick 6. Going into the half OSU leads 20-7.
The Cowboys would get a field goal to go up 23-7. A Wildcat fumble would lead to another Cowboy field goal. K-State would finally find the end zone again and would get a 2-pt conversion to cut the lead to 26-15. A punt by OSU and turnover on downs by KSU would lead to another OSU field goal. K-State would find the end zone again but fail on the 2-pt conversion and would now trail 29-21. K-State would have 2 more drives to try and tie the game but an interception and a turnover on downs would end the chance for a K-State comeback. The Oklahoma State Cowboys would win 29-21.
