Chicago Bears @ Washington Commanders (-6)
Last week I was ready to write off Sam Howell, then he rode into Philly and almost stole a win. The Bears on the other hand have a win stolen from them at home. Six is a big spread between two awful teams. This could be a classic Thursday Night Football 13-9 turd however I think Sam Howell and his offense can put up big numbers versus the Bears’ bad defense. The Commies D shuts down the Bears offense. Take the Commies -6.
Jacksonville Jaguars @ Buffalo Bills (-5.5)
The Jags stayed in London after their win over the Falcons could this be the advantage they need? Sadly no. Josh Allen and his offense have been clicking since their abysmal week one performance. Trevor Lawrence and his offense haven’t taken the step forward that I thought they would. There is time for that and I think Doug will figure it out just not this week. The Bills by a touchdown plus.
Baltimore Ravens @ Pittsburgh Steelers (+4)
Smart money says the Ravens here, but this is a divisional game. Lamar Jackson has had his worst performances against the Steelers. Mike Tomlin has been battling criticism for the last few years about his offense. It comes to a head gets ugly and his team always bounces back. I think he gets the guys fired up for this one and they keep it close. Pittsburgh +4
New York Giants @ Miami Dolphins (-12)
The Giants have the worst offense in the league. Brian Daboll hasn’t had his teams prepared to play as they’ve been embarrassed in the first half of all four games, excluding Arizona the second halves haven’t looked much better. The Bills exposed Miami’s defensive shortcomings last week but they’re back in Miami and the Giants don’t have the weapons to keep it close. Dolphins -12
Kansas City Chiefs @ Minnesota Vikings (+4)
Kansas City’s offense has struggled so far this season. Minnesota’s fortune from last year of winning one score games has flipped. The game is a late afternoon feature for Kirk Cousins. All these factors make this game extremely hard to predict. I’m leaning towards Andy and Pat deciding this game needs to be a showcase and put a hurting on the Vikings. Take the Chiefs and give the four.
Dallas Cowboys @ San Francisco 49ers (-3.5)
Dallas has two other road games on the season, the embarrassment of the Giants and then the embarrassment by the Cardinals. Dallas is their own worst enemy and you can’t make mistakes against the Niners. Dak and McCarthy have too much of a history for shitting the bed under the bright lights. Take the Niners and give the points.
Green Bay Packers @ Las Vegas Raiders (-1)
After being in Vegas a few weeks ago this fan base hates their coach. They’ve recently taken out a billboard for his firing. He’s 7-14 in two seasons. His only win this season came against an even worse Broncos team. Aside from being at home, there is no reason they should be favored. Hammer the Packers and take the point. Green Bay wins big.
