Thank God that’s over. Let’s take a peek at the Broncos vs. Dolphins match-up.
Not often do we see historical performances, and when we do we often hope we are on the good side of it all. Well as a Denver fan, I got to be on the wrong side of a historical performance as the Dolphins whipped the life out of the Denver Broncos for 4 straight quarters. The only good thing about this game was Miami having mercy and not breaking the most points in a regular season game record. I knew Tua and Hill would be problematic but not that problematic. I also didn’t expect much out of their RBs, but once again I was wrong. The Dolphins just scored at will the entire game. It had to be the most brutal beatdown of my team I’ve seen. Sure we had some questionable calls against us in that game and some unfortunate penalties but you can’t even begin to try and blame those. I mean holy cow how did we let that happen?

Well, I never wanted to have to chant this again but we gotta fire Vance Joseph!
The offense for the most part did its job Russell Wilson looked good. Marvin Mims showed his capabilities in the return game scoring a TD. Sutton had the TD but had 2 ugly fumbles.
We got Jeudy back which was nice.
Our defense? You can not say 1 good thing about that defense. No sacks no turnovers and gave the Dolphins little resistance the entire game. I mean rookie RB De’Von Achane had 203 yards and 2 TDs off 11 touches….he had 1 carry for 5 yards before this week.
We knew the defense was going to take a step back with Vance Joseph this season but I didn’t think we would be this bad. I mean 70 points really? I can’t even put into words how disappointed I am in that showing. I’ve seen a lot of posts calling for Russell to be benched after that game last I checked Russell doesn’t play on the defense and didn’t give up 70 points. I know it’s frustrating to watch a game like that, but gotta try and find the bright spots in it. We found a stud in Marvin Mims. Russell is looking like the best QB Denver has had in years. And if you think about it we are only a couple of plays and 4 points away from being 2-1. next week we face a very winnable game vs. the Bears. Hopefully, then we can make some adjustments and get our first win of the year.
