1. San Francisco 49ers – The second road win of the season against a good Los Angeles Rams team keeps them at #1
2. Miami Dolphins – Second road win of the season against a not-so-good New England Patriots team keeps them at #2
3. Dallas Cowboys – The Cowboys had what should have been an interesting game matching Aaron Rodgers against Mike McCarthy ruined. An impressive win over Zach Wilson isn’t enough to rock the boat. They stay at #3.
4. Philadelphia Eagles – The Eagles looked good but got protective of their win and let the Vikings get closer than they should have been. No reason to raise or drop them. They need to keep their foot on the pedal though.
5. Kansas City Chiefs – Travis Kelce and Chris Jones’ return solve all woes. The Chiefs go into Jacksonville come out with a win and round out my top five.
6. Baltimore Ravens – Nice 2-0 start for the Ravens but the Texans and struggling Cincinnati aren’t nice enough to crack the top five. Six ain’t bad.
7. Buffalo Bills – The biggest win of week 2 gets the Bills into my top 10 for the first time this year. But against the Raiders it doesn’t overshadow that turd against Zach Wilson Monday night.
8. Jacksonville Jaguars – You can’t squander chances at home against the reigning Super Bowl champions and expect not to fall. They had a chance late for a tie when the Chiefs didn’t have their best stuff. Learn and grow.
9. Los Angeles Rams – We all started this season sleeping on Matthew Stafford least we forget he won a Super Bowl on his last healthy season. This team looks a lot better with him under center than not. Tough loss but to that team you can hang your hat on it.
10. New Orleans Saints – Survive and advance. Up 11 the Saints let down their guard and the Panthers managed to make it close.
