Oklahoma State beats Arizona State 27-15

Another slow offensive start for the Cowboys in this game, but the still get the win in Tempe.

The game started with 3 combined punts before ASU was able to find the end zone on a 13 yard run. After the ASU touchdown drive the teams would go back to trading punts before any other scoring happened. OSU would find the end zone for the first time in the 2nd quarter thanks to a Ollie Gordon TD run. However, ASU would answer and score another touchdown and thanks to a penalty on the PAT try the Sun Devils got the ball moved up and converted on their 2-pt conversion. OSU would settle for a field goal on their pursuing drive but that would be all the scoring in the 1st half.

ASU would get the ball first but would end up turning it over on downs and that allowed the Cowboys to drive down and find the end zone to take their first lead of the game. The Cowboys would intercept Rashada but it wouldn’t lead to anything because OSU missed a field goal. More punts by both teams pursued before Oklahoma State could put the dagger to ASU with another TD. The TD came when Garret Rangel finding Brennan Presley from 16 yards out. That would be all of the scoring since ASU turned it over on downs their last 2 drives. The final would be 27-15 OSU.
