Oklahoma State defeats Central Arkansas

The Oklahoma State Cowboys beat the Central Arkansas Bears by the score of 27-13.

This game started off strong defensively for both teams with OSU’s opening offensive drive ending with an interception. Central Ark was able to move the ball down to the Cowboy 10 but had to settle for an FG attempt but the attempt was blocked by Korie Black. The Cowboys would take advantage of the blocked FG and drive down the field and score a TD thanks to a Garrett Rangel pass to Brennan Presley. Then the next 5 drives combined resulted in punts before OSU was able to tack on some points with an FG. More punts occurred on the next few drives. One drive close to the end of the half ended with a Central Arkansas fumble allowing the Cowboys to tack on another field goal before the half. At the half, Oklahoma State would lead 13-0.

The Bears would get the ball first to start the half and would get some offense going but they would have to settle for another FG attempt that was blocked by Korie Black AGAIN! OSU had to punt on their drive though and Central Ark would score a TD on their drive. A couple of punts occurred and then OSU would find the endzone again thanks to an Elijah Collins touchdown run. The Bears were forced to punt again and the Cowboys drove and found the endzone again with an Ollie Gordon II 2-yard TD run! The Bears would get the ball and score a TD on the pursuing drive and would end up missing the PAT. The Cowboys would then get the ball back and would be able to run off the remaining 3:28 to pick up a 27-13 win.
