The Chiefs beat the Cardinals 38-10.

The Chiefs get their first win of the preseason again the Arizona Cardinals by the score of 38-10.

The game started off slow on the offensive side by both teams punting twice on their first 2 drives. The Chiefs got the scoring started with a 92 yard TD drive capped of by a Mahomes firing a TD pass to Justin Watson. The Chiefs would find the endzone again to go up 14-0. This time thanks to a Shane Buechele scramble. The Chiefs would add a FG and the Cards would add a TD before the half. The Chiefs would lead 17-7 at half.

The Cards would start the second half by kicking a field goal but that would be all they would do the rest of the game. The Chiefs would end up tacking on 3 more touchdowns before the end of the game. First was a Gabbert TD pass to Smith-Marsette, the 2nd was a Gabbert TD pass to Powell. The final TD they would score would be a Prince 2-yard TD run. The Chiefs would win this game in blowout fashion by defeating the Cardinals 38-10.
