The Women’s College elimination games got started this evening with 2 games.
The first elimination games was between Stanford and Alabama.
#9 Stanford- 2
#5 Alabama- 0
Alabama’s star pitcher Montana Fouts pitched her heart out in what was her final collegiate game. She gave up just 2 runs on 4 hits with a bum knee but her offense didn’t do anything to help her out, they recorded just 1 hit.
#15 Utah- 0
#6 Oklahoma State- 8
This game was all the Cowgirls. OSU scored 2 runs in the first and 6 in the second and that was all they needed to back Lexi Kilfoyl.
Oklahoma State and Stanford will have Saturday off before playing again Sunday in another elimination game.
Utah and Alabama will get the rest of the year off.
