The Toronto Maple Leafs returned from the All-Star break with 2 games against the Columbus Blue Jackets, winning one and losing one. The Leafs still sit in second place in the Atlantic Division, 11 points behind the first place Bruins. The Maple Leafs got right back on track on their first game after the all-star break, with John Tavares scoring 2 goals and Ilya Samsonov’s 30 saves leading the Leafs to a shutout victory.
2/11:

The Leafs couldn’t beat out Columbus for the second straight night with young Joseph Woll allowing 4 goals on 40 shots. Nylander (29), Bunting (16), and Rielly (2) provided the offence for the Leafs.
The Leafs return to action Wednesday night, where they will host the Chicago Blackhawks at scotiabank arena. The game is scheduled to begin at 7:00PM ET.
