The rookies this season weren’t too exciting this season. We had some solid picks and players but one stood tall above the rest.
My winner for the Patriots’ Rookie of the Year is Marcus Jones.
Marcus Jones played like a Patriots’ version of Deion Sanders. return, catch, defend. He did it all. He had a total of 3 TDs. 1 receiving, 1 punt return TD, and 1 pick-six. He started his career off as I expected, as a swiss army knife that Bill will love. If you look back at my article from 4/30/2022, I said: “Jones could play as a slot receiver from time to time”. Looks like I got that right.
Overall, Jones is the only rookie who truly impressed me, and as it stands the Pats have the 14th overall pick, which I hope we get a WR with.
