Jan 8 2023 game recap:
The Jazz started this game really slow and didn’t defend, they was able to make shots. The Jazz was able to shoot the three, Walker Kessler was able to block shots but still couldn’t take the lead. They was able to take the lead at the end with good defense and offense 24-23! The Jazz started the 2nd quarter doing really well, but then they toke Walker out and they lost the lead. The Jazz couldn’t take the lead back with all the turnovers 52-66 at the end of the first half!
Second half recap:
The Jazz started the 3rd doing a 10-4 run cutting down the lead by defending and making shots, they also doing good getting to the line. The Jazz Jordan Clarkson was ejected from the game, the Jazz still behind at the end of the 3rd 90-98! The Jazz started the 4th quarter not doing so well, not defending or shooting well, they was able to get to the free throw line. They still couldn’t take the lead back, they was able to star my rebounding the ball and defending but couldn’t take the lead!
January 10 2023 game recap:
The Jazz in Mitchell return to Utah since the trade did good starting out the first quarter, getting to the foul line and with the threes. The Jazz did good at rebounding the ball as well, they kept the lead towards the end of the first quarter 31-24! The Jazz started the 2nd quarter defending really well and was able to shoot the ball. They was able to also cause turnovers, the Jazz then let the Cavaliers get back in the game and only up by 2 points! The Jazz did loose the lead after a run by the cavaliers, they was able to take the lead back with 47 seconds left of the 2nd 55-53! The Jazz did have the lead back for little bit then cavaliers tied the game 55-55 at the end of the half!
Second half recap:
The Jazz started this half by defending and making stops, they did good at rebounding as well and toke the lead back! They also started early shooting threes and making baskets, the Jazz gone on a run to add to the lead! The Jazz ended the 3rd quarter with the lead 88-84! The Jazz let the cavaliers go on a run starting the 4th quarter, but they was able to rebound miss shots! The Cavaliers did take the lead with 6:59 left of the game, Jordan Clarkson got fouled in 3 point line 2 times in a row back to back. The Jazz take the lead back with 1:10 left of game with free throws made by Jordan! The Jazz gone on a 8-0 run and kept the lead with 31.8 left of the game, Jazz gone on a 13-1 run! The Jazz won this game 116-114!
