The Hornets are not good… I don’t know how else I can say it. They are dead last in the Southeast and currently hold the 2nd worst record in the NBA (Detroit currently holds that honor).
This past week we saw the Hornets finally collect their 10th win of the season, but ultimately still finish the week at an embarrassing 1-3…
If you want to look at a bright spot for Charlotte, it’s that young stud Lamelo Ball seems to be healthy as he was the teams leading scorer in all 4 games this week.
Here were the scores from the past week:
12/26: CHA 113 POR 124
Hornets Top Scorer: Lamelo Ball (27)
Trail Blazers Top Scorer: Jerami Grant (32)
12/27: CHA 105 GS 110
Hornets Top Scorer: Lamelo Ball (21)
Warriors Top Scorer: Klay Thompson (29)
12/29: OKC 113 CHA 121
Thunder Top Scorer: Shai- Gilgeous Alexander (28)
Hornets Top Scorer: Lamelo Ball (27)
12/31: BKN 123 CHA 106
Nets Top Scorer: Kyrie Irving (28)
Hornets Top Scorer: Lamelo Ball (23)
The Hornets will kick off 2023 on Jan 2 when they will host LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers to the Spectrum Center.
