The Chiefs win their 14th straight against Denver.

The Chiefs continue to own the Denver Broncos after winning their 14th straight against them.

The game that once looked like it was bound to be a blowout became just a 6-point Kansas City after Denver went on a 28-7 run.

The Broncos allowed the Chiefs to move down the field with relative ease for most of the 1st half. The Chiefs stalled in Bronco territory on their first 2 drives and had to settle for a couple of field goals. They finally found the endzone when Mahomes did some of his magic and flipped a sidearm pass to McKinnon who went 56 yards for a touchdown. The KC defense would force another Bronco punt and the offense would capitalize. They would go 76 yards for another touchdown when Mahomes hit McKinnon for a screen pass for a touchdown. Willie Gay would then pick off Russ and return it for a 47-yard TD. After that pick 6 to put the Chiefs up 27-0 they began to struggle. Thanks to 2 INTS by Mahomes the Broncos found themselves down by just 13 at the half.

The Broncos would receive the 2nd half kick and on their drive, they would go 75 yards in just 5 plays to cut the lead to 6. The following 4 possessions would result in punts by both teams. The Chiefs would finally find the endzone again when Mahomes found JuJu for a 4-yard TD pass. The Broncos would answer with a touchdown of their own to cut it back to a 6-point KC lead. A punt by both teams gave KC the ball back but Mahomes would throw his 3rd pick of the game, luckily this one didn’t result in any Bronco points because Sneed would pick off Rypien. The Chiefs would then just kill the remaining 4:21 to get the win over their division foe.

It wasn’t pretty but Kansas City got the win. The Broncos scored the most points in this game than in any previous game this season. However, they also gave up the most points they had in a game this season.

What’s next?

Chiefs (10-3) @ (1-11-1) Texans

Cardinals (4-8) @ (3-10) Broncos
