On Sunday the Grizzlies came to LCA and the Pistons were very good hosts as they allowed Memphis to set up residency on their court and take a 122-112 win.
Killian Hayes continues to try and make people believe he deserves to be in the starting lineup even after Cade returns, only contributing 13 points and just six assists. Those numbers do not scream “floor general” which is what you want in your point guard. Poor Bojan Bogdanovic even had a very in-Bojan-like game with only 18 points and just one rebound. Saddiq Bey did come off the bench with 24.
The Pistons were outrebounded by nine, Memphis hit more three-pointers, and just generally outplayed the home team here.

The Pistons traveled down to South Beach to take on the Heat on Tuesday. And this game was a fairly easy win for the Pistons, 116-96.
The first half was pretty quiet for the Pistons as they trailed 50-47 at the half. Bojan Bogdanovic had only three points at the half.
The second half was a different story as Bogdanovic scored 28 and Alex Burks came off the bench with 18 points and nine rebounds. Isaiah Stewart chipped in with 11 points and 11 rebounds. However, the low spot for the Pistons was once again Killian Hayes who only had six points. Hayes has proven time and again that he is not the answer for Cunningham being out.

Wednesday saw the Pistons travel west from Florida to New Orleans to face Zion Williamson and the Pelicans.
After a very brief lead to end the first quarter, Detroit completely forgot how to score and fell behind 56-43 at halftime. However, the Pistons had no answer for Williamson and he showed it, with 29 points and 10 rebounds. Trey Murphy also had a good game for the Pelicans with 20 points.
Detroit’s Bojan Bogdanovic was ejected from the game in the third for apparently saying something the referee did not like. It did not matter if he was in the game because the team continues to look horrible. Killian Hayes had one of his games that makes his fans go crazy and the rest of us ask…where is that consistently? He had 17 points and 12 assists.

On Friday, the Pistons ended their week against the same team they started the week with, the Grizzlies. This time in Memphis, but the result was the same Memphis won, 114-103.
Killian Hayes again forgot to show up for the game, contributing only 5 points and 5 assists. This experiment of him starting should be over.
Dwayne Casey as the head coach needs to come to an end as well. This team is without a doubt the worst team in the NBA.
