It seems at this point that the Chiefs just can’t beat the Bengals. With yesterday’s 27-24 loss they have lost 3 straight games to Cincy all of which being in the calendar year of 2022
The Chiefs once again started off slow and quickly found them trailing. The Chiefs would continue to struggle early and found themselves down 14-3. KC would finally find the endzone but would still trail at half by the score of 14-10.
The Chiefs would start the 2nd half with the ball and would quickly drive down and score a touchdown to take their first lead of the game. However, the Chiefs’ defense couldn’t get off the field but was able to hold the Bengals’ offense to a field goal. The Chiefs would respond and score another touchdown on a fantastic QB 3-yard run by Mahomes. The chiefs’ would hold Cincinnati to another field goal. The Chiefs couldn’t do anything on their next drive because on the 2nd play Travis Kelce fumbled the ball. The Bengals would capitalize with a TD to take a 27-24 lead. The Chiefs would move the ball into field goal range to try and tie the game but Harrison Butker would miss. After a few Bengal first downs the game was over and KC would lose 27-24.
