The Bucks struck first, and never looked back. Although the Mavericks came close to catching up a few times, the Bucks were just too much for them. Especially when guys like Allen go off for 25 PTS, hitting 7 out of 8 three-point shots. That’s exactly what the Bucks need, deadly shooting from beyond the arch. Also another double-double for the underdog himself Bobby Portis! It’s fun to watch him play, and succeed. He brings an energy that is key to the Buck’s chemistry!
Game 2 Wednesday, November 30th

What a game! The Knicks struck first, only for the Bucks to take the lead. This back-and-forth happened most of the game, until the Bucks started to pull ahead in the 4th. A little closer than what I would like, but a fun game to watch! Giannis with almost 40 points, as well as a bit of everyone else involved. A playoff caliber of play game from both teams! The only real criticism I have was the lousy 28.6% from the 3-pt line. Although it didn’t negatively affect them this game, it should be over 35%.
Game 3 Friday, December 2nd
Lakers 133 @ Bucks 129

I thought the last game was playoff-Esque, but boy was I wrong. This game took that cake by a mile. Unfortunately, the Bucks’s defense just couldn’t hold on. This was a huge game for the Bucks, not only being against the Lakers but Middleton’s first night back j to the rotation. Middleton didn’t have a bad night, 17 PTS, 7 AST, 3-4 3pt, however, I think adding him into the starting rotation wasn’t the best idea. It changed the team’s chemistry, which was just enough to cost them the game. Not only that but they were eaten alive by the Lakers pick n roll offense, granted it wasn’t a large win margin.
Game 4 Saturday, December 3rd
Bucks 105 @ Hornets 96

The Bucks took the early lead, and although the Hornets took a few early leads the Bucks stayed in control. With all of the Bucks big three and a few of the Hornets stars out, this game was all about which team had the deeper bench. The Bucks answered that call, with every player scoring at least once! It is also a huge relief to see the Bucks pull off the victory while being so short-handed. Once this team is fully healthy, they are going to be a beast in the east!
The Bucks will face the Magic, Kings, and Mavericks this week. Let the dominance continue!
