Bolts have a great week, but can’t top Bruins.

Nov 28th @ BUF

The Tampa Bay Lightning win in OT! The key to this victory was the PP. The Lightning scored 3 goals on 4 PP’s. A game that was far too close for comfort. The Sabres were able to attack the net outshooting the Lightning by double digits. The Bolts found themselves down 5-3 late in the 3rd period. A goal from Stamkos lit the spark we needed late, as Brandon Hagel would eventually tie it up on the Power Play. Steven Stamkos would get his 13th career game-winning goal in OT on a beautiful setup by Nick Paul, but even better was the shot placement from Stamkos.

Nov 29th @ BOS

Lightning captain Steven Stamkos would be the only player to score against the Bruins in Boston. The Bruins continue to be solid at home. One of the toughest places to play right now for most teams.

A much closer game than what the scorecard says.

The game-winning goal came early in the 3rd period on a PPG by Taylor Hall. Following an empty net goal, the Bolts played well against the hottest team on the ice right now.

Dec 1st @ PHI

Steven Stamkos with an Assist to Nick Paul in the second period would become the first in Tampa Bay history to record 1,000 career points. This stat makes him one of just 48 players to achieve this with one team.

The Bolts dominated the face-offs and took care of the puck. Nick Paul had a huge game scoring twice to spark the Lightning to a 2-0 lead. A last-second goal from Ross Colton in the 2nd period gives the Lightning a 3-0 lead going into the last period. The Flyers were not able to recover from this deficit as the Bolts hold on to win this game.

Dec 3rd vs. TOR

What a show it was welcoming Toronto to Tampa.

To start the game it wasn’t pretty for the Bolts, giving up a short-handed goal and giving all momentum to the Leafs.

Just a few minutes later C Vladislav Namestnikov ties it up with his first goal back with the Tampa Bay Lightning.

A back-and-forth game would lead to another OT game for the Bolts. The Bolts wasted no time in OT with a turnover to allow Cirelli to set up Alex Killorn for the game-winning goal just 33 seconds into OT.

A huge win for the Lightning at home against a tough opponent
