Nov 28 game recap:
The Utah Jazz started the game out doing good, then they let the bulls catch up but still kept the lead. They were able to defend/shoot the ball so far in this game! The Jazz also when made stops were able to rebound the ball in the first quarter, the Jazz then turnover the ball the bills take the lead until Lauri made a three, Walker Kessler then blocked the shot at the other end. The Jazz and bills are tied at the end of the 1st quarter 27-27! The Jazz started the 2nd quarter doing good at rebounding, shooting, and defending, the Jazz then let the bills catch up with not defending the Bulls but still kept the lead, Hardy called time out. The Jazz was able to defend after the time out, Collin stole the ball and made a dunk, they they were able to shoot, Lauri then made a dunk as well and the Jazz lead was by 10 PTS, the bulls called time out, Lauri had a career-high half in points as well!
Second half recap:
The Jazz started the 2nd half able to do the same as the first half, but then they turn over the ball and couldn’t make stops, the Jazz did lose the lead to the bulls 74-73 with 4:20 left of the 3rd quarter, this is due to not being able to shoot or make stops. The Jazz went 0-4 from the free throw line in the 3rd quarter, the Jazz ended the 3rd 80-86! The Jazz started the 4th quarter a little slow, Beasley was able to steal the ball and made a basket. The Jazz was able to cut the lead down to 3, by defending and rebounding the ball, the Jazz lost for the 5th time in a row, they haven’t won a game without Mike Conley so far, 104-114!
Nov 30 2022 game recap:
The Jazz started the first doing good at creating shots/making them, they also were able to defend! The Jazz centers were able to dunk the ball and get some action tonight early on, Jordan Clarkson did well early on as well. They started being able to shoot the threes well really on as well, they ended the first quarter with the lead 35-27! The Jazz started the 2nd quarter like the first able to shoot the three, get to the free-throw line and defend the clippers. The Jazz started to not defend and was not able to shoot the three, they let the clippers get closer to the lead, the clippers and Jazz got the first tie of the game with 6:20 left of the first half, the Clippers then take the lead 45-43 with 5:50 left of the half with the basket by the clippers. That lead didn’t last long with Kelly making basket 45-45 with 5:40 left of the first half, Jordan hit back-to-back threes. The Jazz started to be Abel to defend the clippers and shoot the ball at the other end of the court, the Jazz ended the half down 58-60!
Second half recap:
The Jazz started the 3rd quarter able to defend, Collin Sexton was able to cause a turnover, and they were able to rebound the ball as well. The Jazz take the lead 64-63 with 9:54 left of the 3rd quarter, the Jazz couldn’t grab defensive rebounds, but were able to defend the ball! The Jazz was able to get the fans going and make the crowd loud with the run and the plays, Walker Kessler was blocking shots after the block, and Collin got down to the other end fast he missed but was fouled, he made 1/2 free throws, Walker Kessler been defending/blocking shots this game good! They ended the 3rd with the lead 94-85. The Jazz started the 4th quarter doing well, then they let the clippers catch up with them, they then started to be able to cause turnovers and dunk the baskets/make shots. They were also able to pass the ball to an open player to score the basket, the Jazz won 125-112, this is the first win since Mike Conley went down!
Dec 2 game recap:
The Jazz started the 1st quarter doing good defending and making plays, but they did keep switching who takes the lead and tied the game as well. The Jazz did end up taking the lead and not trading leads, the Jazz kept the lead 35-24! The Jazz started the 2nd quarter able to cause turnovers and get fouled, they also were able to pass the ball and shoot the threes, Walker Kessler was able to make some baskets as well, and Jordan Clarkson was able to continue where he left off last game, the Jazz then let the pacers back in the game, the Jazz then went back to 7-0 run with defense and shooting, the Jazz did back to back baskets and now the run was 13-0 with 1:10 left of the first half! The Jazz ended the first half on a good note with a 22-5 run the Jazz kept the lead 75-59 end of the first half!
Second half recap:
The Jazz started the 3rd quarter able to make stops and get fouled, Jordan Clarkson got fouled on a three-pointer and made 2/3. They let the pacers go on a run due to not being able to make stoops/defend the pacers, so the jazz still kept the lead at the end of the 3rd quarter 101-81! The Jazz started the 4th quarter able to defend/make stops, they also were able to dunk the basket to start the quarter, Walker Kessler and as having a career night in this game, The Jazz started this quarter on a 10-5 run, Walker Kessler got the 2nd double-double of his career! The Jazz rookie had a career-high in points 18 PTS and 100% FG with 10 rebounds with 3:51 left of the game. The Jazz won the game 139-119!
Dec 3 2022 game recap:
The Jazz didn’t start the first quarter doing good and couldn’t defend, they were able to make shots but couldn’t make stops against Portland. The Jazz was able to defend better and make stops, Lauri was fouled on a 3 PT Attempt and made 3-3 free throws, and the Jazz takes the first lead with 7:34 left of the first 16-15. The Jazz ended the first quarter behind 31-40! The Jazz started the 2nd half by blocking shots and making stops, they were able to make shots, but they were also able to get fouled. The Jazz then couldn’t rebound the ball and couldn’t defend Portland, Walker Kessler was doing good defending doing the first half, he was able to grab rebounds as well! They ended the first half behind 60-69!
Second half recap:
The Jazz started the 3rd quarter doing good at defending and shooting the ball, but they couldn’t get ahead early on yet! They were able to tie it 79-79 with 6:53 left of the 3rd quarter, they were able to get fouled and cause turnovers on Portland! The Jazz take the first lead since the 24-23 mark in the first quarter with 6:34 left of the third 81-79, they were able to rebound and defend better in the 2nd half! The Jazz ended the quarter doing well even with the 2 no-calls, they ended up being behind 90-92! The Jazz started the 4th with defending and was able to make threes to chip down the lead, Walker Kessler is doing good defending Portland! The Jazz was able to tie after the Jordan bucket with 2:29 left of the game 109-109. The Jazz take the lead with 58 seconds of the game, Lauri blocked the shot at the other end of the court, 111-110 with 35 seconds left of the game! The Jazz lost this game 111-116!
