The Hawks struck first, and never looked back. The Bucks caught up in the first quarter, even taking a brief lead. Unfortunately, that was short-lived, the Hawks quickly took the game back and didn’t let go. The main issue for the Bucks was ball movement. At times they looked stagnant, with very little passing the ball around. In their defense, this was the third game without Holiday. Who usually gets the ball moving for the team. On the bright side another great night from the rookie Beauchamp, scoring 20 points! He’s exciting to watch develop!
Game 2 Wednesday, November 16th

The Cavaliers started the game out strong, taking an early lead. The Bucks however stayed close behind, eventually catching up by halftime. After the second half started the Bucks took control and never looked back. A huge night from the big man Lopez! Showing that he’s still got it, even on the offensive end. One thing that I did notice in this game was the number of turnovers the Bucks had. It didn’t affect the outcome, but it could become a problem later down the road.
Game 3 Friday, November 18th
Bucks 102 @ Sixers 110

The Bucks came out hot, taking an early lead. Taking it up to a 10-point lead by the end of the first quarter. The Sixers quickly fought back, taking their lead in the middle of the third quarter. From then on out it was a dogfight to the end, with the Sixers taking the win. It simply came down to the Sixers taking better-quality shots and making them. The Bucks especially struggled at the free-throw line. Hitting a meager 38.1% compared to the Sixer’s 65.4%.
The Bucks need to regroup and look forward to a new week. Especially with the impending return of Connaughton and Middleton from their injuries. They will be a much-needed help to the Bucks rotation. Next up the Bucks will host the Trail blazers on Monday, the Bulls on Wednesday, and the Cavaliers Friday.
