The Toronto Maple Leafs go undefeated in regulation this week, losing their only game in overtime. They still hold second place in the Atlantic Division and are now 5th overall in the league. Here are the game results:
11/15:
TOR 5 PIT 2
The Leafs controlled this one from the beginning. Goals from John Tavares (9, 400th career), Mitch Marner (4) and Michael Bunting (3) pushed them to an early 3-0 lead. The Penguins would bring it to within a goal after goals from Rickard Rakell (7) and Sidney Crosby (7), but Toronto would put it out of reach with goals from Michael Bunting (4) and William Nylander (7).
11/17:
NJD 3 TOR 2 F/OT
The Leafs almost ended the Devils 10 game win streak but the hottest team in the league would come through in overtime to push their win streak to 11. Toronto received its goals from Auston Matthews (8) and William Nylander (8), with the Devils winning on goals from Jesper Bratt (7), Nico Hischier (9) and the game-winning goal from Yegor Sharangovich (4).
11/19:
BUF 2 TOR 5
Toronto would jump out to a 3-0 lead in the first and never looked back. John Tavares (10), Calle Jarnkrok (4) and Mark Giordano (1) were the offence in the first and William Nylander (9, 10) added 2 goals himself to give the Leafs a fairly easy win and hand the Sabres their 8th straight loss.
The Leafs will return to action Monday at 7:30 PM ET against the New York Islanders hoping to continue this 6-1-2 run their on.
