What started as a promising season, has quickly turned south for the Sabres.
Buffalo lost all 3 games this past week (all of which were home games).
Buffalo would open their week by hosting Arizona on Tuesday. They would fall 4-1, Tage Thompson scoring the lone Sabres goal.
The big game of the week came on Thursday night when Jack Eichel made his return to Buffalo… And return did he ever, as he would go on to collect a hat trick and help lift the Golden Knights to victory (7-4). (Tage Thompson would score twice for Buffalo as he continues to be a bright spot on this Sabres team)
Buffalo would close the week out against Boston, once again falling, this time 3-1. Once again, Tage Thompson would score the lone Sabres goal.
A tough couple of weeks for Buffalo sports in general, hopefully the Sabres can start their turnaround in the coming week.
