Another week, another abysmal Aggies performance. It’s been 49 days since we’ve seen the Aggies come away with a win… When you consider they started the season as the #6 ranked team, is unbelievable.
It was announced before the game that the Aggie’s top play (RB Devon Achane) would not be suiting up and he showed up to the game in a walking boot. As a result, the Aggie offense could only muster 215 total yards of offense against an Auburn team who was also on a 5-game losing streak.
With this loss, Texas A&M is officially eliminated from Bowl Eligibility as their disastrous season will continue onto next week when they play host to UMass.
With how bad this season has been, Aggie fans have started to worry about top recruits that committed in the offseason and de-committing. Rightfully so, as this team looks nowhere near National Championship material anytime soon.
