This game was back and forth when it came to goal-scoring. The bolts were able to hold the senators to 15 shots and shut them down on the power play. Brayden Point tied the game in the 3rd period and Kucherov was able to put in the game-winning goal late in the 3rd.

G Andrei Vasilevskiy was incredible against the Hurricanes, saving 52-55. The Bolts controlled the second period with 3 goals. The Canes not backing down, forced a shootout and came out on top.

D Nick Perbix scored his 1st NHL goal in a timely fashion as he puts Tampa ahead in the 3rd period. G Brian Elliott was again showing reliability in the net saving 21-24. Kucherov and Point each tack on their 6th goal of the season.
