Hard to believe that the Aggies were the #6 ranked team coming into the season. They have been flat-out bad and it’s been in all 3 phases (plus coaching). A&M turned to a 3rd different QB this season in Conner Weigman, and to his credit played pretty well. Throwing for 338 yards and 4 TDs (all to different receivers).
Devon Achane was doing Achane things going for 138 yards on 25 attempts.
But the Aggie defense allowed RB Quinshon Judkins to go for 205 yards and a touchdown while also allowing a combined 390 rushing yards.
A&M opened the game with (2) first-quarter Touchdowns but were shut out in the second and third quarters before striking for (2) fourth-quarter touchdowns. Unfortunately, it was too little too late as they entered the fourth down 10 and gave up another touchdown in the fourth resulting in a 3-point loss.
A&M will look to stop this 4-game losing streak as they will host the unranked Florida Gators at Kyle Field next Saturday.
