The LA Rams put up a fight in the first half, they held us to just a single touchdown & field goal, while they managed to score 14 points. Which put us at 10-14 at halftime, things were looking pretty sketchy.
The 49ers got the ball to start the 3rd quarter and went 3 & out. The Rams did the same, then the game changed. Something clicked and everything went up from there.
In his second game as a San Francisco 49er Christian McCafrrey had a running, receiving and a PASSING touchdown, caught by Brandon Aiyuk for 34 yards! He had a total of 194 scrimmage yards. So far I’d say the trade for him was a W.
Our defense was on fire tonight, Ward still lacked a bit, but it didn’t have quite as much of an effect on the game. Warner looked better this week, hopefully after the bye his hand will be healed and he’ll be ready to go!
Just wanted to say a little thanks to the Rams for making sure we get at least 2 wins a season for the last few years.
