The Bucks come out strong taking a 2-0 start to the season!
After a heartbreaking Brewer season, a rough Badgers season, and a struggling Packers season, it’s a relief that the Bucks are still holding it together for Wisconsin sports.
Game 1 Thursday, October 20th

What a game! A mostly close contest from start to finish. Some will say that the Bucks should have won with a larger point differential, but for now, I’ll take it as a win. The Bucks did a great job moving the ball around and getting everyone involved. Almost every player that came in got some points, which is something that the Bucks seriously need. Rather than just relying on the main players of Giannis, Jrue, Middleton, etc. The glaring problem that the Bucks are facing, and have been facing since last year is the inability to hold a solid lead. At one point in the fourth quarter, the Bucks had a 13-point lead. That was quickly eaten away before the game ended. However, the Bucks are still missing a few key players like Middleton and Connaughton. I’m hoping this is something that gets worked out once they get added back to the rotation.

Now that’s what I call a home opener! The Bucks walked away with an easy 20-point victory! For anyone saying Giannis didn’t do enough offensively in the game against the 76ers, was eating a healthy plate of crow. Giannis was looking like his typical MVP form we all know! Also a pretty big night for Holiday as well, both offensively and defensively. This game was also a stark contrast from the 76ers game, the Bucks took the lead and never let go. The closest the Rockets came to closing the gap was 9 points. Otherwise, the Bucks kept dominating them from the start to finish. That was exactly what I knew the Bucks were capable of. There’s nothing better than starting the season on the right foot with two victories!
Next up the Bucks will be playing the Nets (1-1) at home on Wednesday the 26th. Let’s roll over the Nets and keep a great start rolling!
