Giants defeat Ravens 24-20

Well, there wasn’t many positives for the Ravens today, as they lost to the Giants 24-20.

Mark Andrews became the Ravens all-time franchise leader in this stat: having at least 50+ yards and 1+ touchdown in a single game. Mark has 24. RB Kenyan Drake had his Ravens welcoming party. He had a touchdown and over 100 rushing yards on the day. The Ravens held Saquon Barkley at bay for most of the game, until the Giants’ final touchdown of the game with under 2 minutes to go in the 4th quarter. The Ravens’ defense also didn’t allow 200 passing yards in the game, and they had 4 sacks on the day.

Negatives:

The Ravens’ offense could not finish in the red zone at all today and Kicker Justin Tucker missed his first field goal of the season. Penalties constantly hurt us all day long even on the Giants’ game-winning drive. On offense, Aside from Mark Andrews, nobody got going in the receiving game. The Ravens’ second reception leader today was Isiah Likely who had a whopping 30 yards.

Lamar Jackson threw a terrible interception late in the 4th quarter. Lamar missed the snap, then proceeded to scramble and attempted a cross-body pass….. to fullback Patrick Ricard. Lamar’s last few games have been awful. He needs to get it together and get it together quickly.

Well, Lamar did the opposite. He fumbled and the Giants recovered. Lamar choked the game away. Lamar is my favorite player. But he’s just not himself this season. He needs to get it together, especially if he wants a big contract this off-season.
