The Baltimore Orioles lost their final series of the season 2 games to 1.
Game:1 Orioles 1 Blue Jays 5
This one was a tough one for the Orioles. Anthony Santander was the only Oriole to produce on the offensive side of the ball. Keegan Akin pitched a good inning in relief allowing 0 runs.
Game:2 Orioles 5 Blue Jays 4
The Orioles got their bats going in this game, the first of a doubleheader. Austin Hays had 2 rbi, and Terrin Vavra had 3 rbi. Terrin also hit his first career home run! Congrats Terrin! Pitching-wise for the Orioles in this game, Keegan Akin, Bryan Baker, DL Hall, and Logan Gillaspie all pitched multiple innings of shutout baseball.
Game 3: Orioles 1 Blue Jays 5
The Orioles’ bats were ice-cold in the second game of the doubleheader yesterday. Kyle Stowers had the O’s only rbi of the game. Nick Vespi, Cionel Perez, and Beau Sulser all pitched well in relief.
I am so proud of the Orioles this season. Nobody and I mean nobody expected the Orioles to even sniff the playoffs, let alone have a winning record this season. But here we are! This season was a great one, especially for all of the young talent on the team. Adley Rutschman looks like a generational talent behind the dish. Gunnar Henderson looks like a generational talent at 3B. Kyle Stowers and Terrin Vavra both played well when given the opportunity. DL Hall made his debut this season and looked good in his final 2 outings of the season. Felix Bautista looks to be the Orioles closer of the future. I’m just so proud of our team. I can’t wait to see what the future holds! But for now, the road stops here. What a ride!
