Unfinished drives and a lack of offensive play-calling variety was the theme for the Rams on Monday Night Football. If you closed your eyes you would think that Tyler Higbee and Cooper Kupp were the only players out there on offense. At no point did this offense look threatening and even when there was a small glimmer of hope, Stafford throws a pick-six to seal the game.
As for the Rams defense, I thought it was a solid effort with the large exception of the 57-yard Deebo Samuel touchdown. On that play, you would have thought that Deebo slathered himself with butter, but no, the Rams defenders tried tackling him the same way you’d expect a five-year-old to try and make some tackles in Madden.
It is time to throw the tape in the trash and move on to Dallas.
