No 3 Ohio State who are 5-0 this season. OSU scored 28 first-half points and added 21 in the second half to defeat Rutgers 49-10.
Miyan Williams rushed for 189 yards on 21 carries. He became the third Buckeye all-time to score five rushing touchdowns in a game.
The Buckeyes started off slow early in each half, giving the Knights the ball deep in Buckeye’s territory on a muffed punt in the first half and then started the second half with an interception. The turnovers led to all of Rutgers’ 10 points in the game.
C.J. Stroud with 154 yards passing, completing 13/22 attempts with two touchdowns.
Emeka Egbuka and Julian Fleming each had 4 catches to lead the receivers. Egbuka led with 70 yards while Fleming had 51 with a score. Marvin Harrison Jr. had three catches for 18 yards and 1 touchdown.
Steele Chambers led the defense with 11 tackles.
The Buckeyes are on the road for the first time this season next Saturday at Michigan State.
